Taught by award-winning photographer Farnaz Damnabi, who is currently featured in ICP’s "We are Here: Scenes from the Streets" exhibition, this course guides photographers through the process of creating a cohesive street photo series. Participants learn how to choose a subject and technique, present their work effectively, and write a compelling artist statement, and they leave the course with a body of work consisting of 15 photographs. The course is open to photographers of all experience levels, though prior street photography experience is preferred.
Course Level / Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes that are Open to All Skill Levels.
