This class is for students who want to tell personal stories with their pictures and are ready to explore ideas that could grow into a long-term project. We’ll discuss ways to develop project ideas, different strategies for building sequenced stories, and the use of creative elements to tell a strong story with an emotional message. Students are free to choose between documentary, multimedia, or conceptual approaches. If you don’t have a project idea ready, we’ll develop one together. Weekly assignments are customized to each student individually, to help you develop your own photographic voice. This course is limited to 10 students.
Prerequisite: Open to All Skill Levels: Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes.
Courses are subject to minimum enrollment. Please register early, within five days of the start-date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation and to ensure you receive all course-related materials in time to prepare for class.
