Historic Processes Through Modern Apps

Throughout photo history, unique processes were developed that pushed the boundaries of what a photograph could look like. Tintypes, cyanotypes and Polaroid films gave photographers the opportunity to create images with very specific aesthetics qualities that are still produced by hand today, and are often referenced in contemporary photography. Using smartphones and apps that mimic these processes, students will makes photographs of familiar subject matter through the lenses of the past.

Prerequisite: Open to All Skill Levels: Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes.

Note:Students will need a smartphone for this course.
