Beginner's Photo Critique

This assignment-driven, online critique class for beginners or intermediate-level photographers helps students to improve their picture-making skills as well as their overall photographic awareness. Each week features lectures on the work of some of photography's greatest artists with an eye toward what we can learn from them. Weekly assignments are inspired by discussions and analysis of the work presented. Students are guided through the process of how to critique work, including how to provide constructive criticism.

Prerequisite:  This course is desgined for beginners.  Students who have more photographic experience may be interested in the online Advanced Photo Critique course.

Courses are subject to minimum enrollment. Please register early, within five days of the start-date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation and to ensure you receive all course-related materials in time to prepare for class.
