Conversations About Photography

Spring Tuition: $250
Students in this course are assigned classic readings to discuss and respond to, in both their own writing and picture-making. Readings include works by Robert Adams, Susan Sontag, Teju Cole, David Campany, Janet Malcolm, and others. We dive into the conceptual, and then apply what we learn to compositional and atmospheric elements in the work of contemporary photographers through class discussion. This course is open to all levels.

Prerequisite: Open to All Skill Levels: Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes.
