Course Code: 25FTABP201IDates: October 4-12, 2025
Meets: Sa and Su from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET
Location: ICP (84 Ludlow Street)
Course Tuition: $465
Over the course of two weekends, students will have a unique experience learning about the photobook world and developing their own digitally created zines. During the first weekend students will have unique access to ICP's Photobook Fest events and have the opportunity to meet with special guests from the festival. During the second weekend, students will work more directly on developing their own projects using tools like InDesign and Photoshop. We encourage students who are intermediate photography students to sign up for this class. In addition to Photobook Fest, students will access ICP’s expansive library collection and discuss the work of historical and contemporary photographers. Participants in this intensive will expand their understanding of the technical and aesthetic possibilities of photography and bookmaking.
Need-based scholarships are available for all Teen Academy classes. To apply, please visit: https://www.icp.org/content/teen-academy-registration..
Course Level/Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. No prior photography experience is needed for these foundation courses.
Note: Students may need access to a manual focus SLR film camera in order to complete assignments. If they do not have their own device, a camera can be signed out from ICP.
