Learn to better navigate the fine art photography world, no matter if you’re a beginner or more zealous collector or a photographer curious to learn more. This 5-part virtual series provides the basics on collecting photography, the questions to ask, and abundant insider tips. Topics include: budget considerations, installation, signature indications, negative vs. print dates, condition and much more!

Session #2: Thoughts to Consider / Questions to Ask Before Spending a Penny
Session #3: The Marketplace: Galleries, Art Fairs, Auctions, and Online Market
Session #4: How to Buy at Auction
Session #5: Virtual gallery visits with two prominent dealers

Course Level / Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes that are Open to All Skill Levels.

Courses are subject to minimum enrollment. Please register early, within five days of the start-date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation and to ensure you receive all course-related materials in time to prepare for class.
