Photography I Online

In this online introductory class to digital photography, participants learn the basics of using a DSLR or mirrorless camera with manual settings. Topics include exposure control and ISO, shutter speed, aperture, depth of field and an introduction to organizing images using the Adobe Lightroom Classic software. Through photo assignments and critique sessions, students explore both technical and aesthetic aspects of photography.
Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels.
Note: This class requires a DSLR or Mirrorless Camera. The software Adobe Lightroom Classic is recommended for the class. Students will need to have Adobe Lightroom for this course. The instructor will provide more information on the first day of class.
Courses are subject to minimum enrollment. Please register early, within five days of the start-date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation and to ensure you receive all course-related materials in time to prepare for class.
