Staging Identity: Performance as Portraiture Practice

This dynamic five-week course explores how performative techniques can deepen and expand your approach to portrait photography. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on exercises, and creative experimentation, we investigate the intersection of performance and photographic representation. This course is ideal for photographers and artists eager to experiment with storytelling, identity, and performance as creative tools, while strengthening their visual literacy and expanding the possibilities of portraiture.

Note: This course is open to photographers at all levels who are ready to harness the power of images to inspire change.

Course Level / Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes that are Open to All Skill Levels.
