During the sometimes lonely process of making an extended series of photographs, two questions often arise: "Why bother?" and "Now what?" This course offers practical tips for editing, sequencing, and writing, and helps students to identify what they may still need to address in their photographic projects. Participants develop a deeper consciousness about their work and discover ways to achieve greater scope and relevance while being mindful of the power of ambiguity. We also discuss both publication and exhibition goals. This course is limited to 12 students.

Note: Software for sorting, sequencing, and viewing images is needed for this course. Some options are: Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, or the equivalent. To start a free trial for Adobe, visit
