The instructor’s personal photographic journey provides the backdrop for this workshop, which offers insight into the experiences and creative processes that have shaped his practice. The course also explores the current state of photography in Algeria via the challenges and opportunities faced by the region’s photographers. We focus on the formation of Collective 220, a dynamic group of Algerian photographers dedicated to fostering collaboration, promoting local talent, and enriching the photographic community, as well as La Chambre Claire, a unique publishing house, educational platform, and place for artistic exchange. Participants present their work in a concluding critique session.

Course Level / Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes that are Open to All Skill Levels.
