Photography is frozen moments: we take little parts of reality, put them into new contexts, and make them our own. The medium is relatable to everyone, because it mirrors what we believe to be a shared reality. Students receive a tailored assignment and create a small series of work in this workshop, while exploring their photography's practical and theoretical aspects and how their work relates to their reality. The course looks at boundary-breaking photographers, such as Jacqueline Hassink, Torbjørn Rødland, Wolfgang Tillmans, Krass Clement, and others.
Course Level / Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes that are Open to All Skill Levels.
Courses are subject to minimum enrollment. Please register early, within five days of the start-date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation and to ensure you receive all course-related materials in time to prepare for class.
