This workshop teaches students the process of making photo zines from concept to material decisions about publication. Students may use the workshop to print already finished work or to become familiar with the zine making process; this could inspire and support future publications of work not yet created. Students learn how establishing a guiding concept for a set of photographs can carry them through the sequencing and layout of their work. The class discusses different methods of printing, binding, and sewing your zine at home.
