Fall light, like that of other seasons, has its own characteristics. It’s softer, more golden. It casts longer shadows. In this online course, emphasis is placed on cultivating attention to sunlight’s various qualities. Participants learn to see light and use its properties, such as color temperature and direction, to enhance or even discover their subject matter. Indeed, in this course, light is celebrated as subject matter essential to the creation of images. Weekly lessons, short readings, and critiques make for a rich, enjoyable learning experience and stronger images.

Course Level / Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes that are Open to All Skill Levels.

Courses are subject to minimum enrollment. Please register early, within five days of the start-date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation and to ensure you receive all course-related materials in time to prepare for class.
