In this class, participants learn how to build a global community of photographers from the ground up. Special attention will be given to amplifying the voices of BIPOC and non-binary photographers and communities. Students will use the groundbreaking website and social media platform, Black Women Photographers, as a case study in order to explore networking, audience, relationship building, social media, brands and partnerships, community engagement, and more.
Course Level / Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes that are Open to All Skill Levels.
Courses are subject to minimum enrollment. Please register early, within five days of the start-date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation and to ensure you receive all course-related materials in time to prepare for class.
