ICP Crit Lab: With Sabrina Santiago

ICP's version of a master class, the Crit Lab is designed to take your photography to the next level. Work closely with Sabrina Santiago, a New York-based photographer whose documentary practice explores identity, community, and self-discovery through the rituals and nuances of everyday life. Drawing from the rich tradition of street photography, Santiago transforms fleeting gestures and chance encounters into deeply intimate reflections on the human experience.

Open to photographers working across all genres and approaches, this Crit Lab provides a supportive yet rigorous environment to refine your portfolio, strengthen your artistic vision, and deepen your visual storytelling. Through thoughtful critiques, discussion, and individualized feedback, students will gain greater clarity around their creative practice while developing a cohesive body of work and a stronger artistic voice.

Santiago's work has been featured by The New York Times, New York Magazine, and Vogue. In 2025, her photographs were exhibited in Humans of New York at Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall. She is currently working on her first monograph. This course is limited to 12 students.

Course Level / Prerequisite: Open to all skill levels. Students ranging from beginner to experienced will be successful in classes that are Open to All Skill Levels.
