Come experiment in this creative and fun workshop, where participants learn how to produce unique photogram photographic prints using the traditional cyanotype process. We cover cyanotype printing techniques, including mixing the emulsion, brush coating on watercolor papers, learning about exposures, and developing our prints in the darkroom. Various toning options for changing the final print color are also introduced. The combination of cyanotypes and photograms produces beautiful images, and the process is very affordable and easy to learn. Students ultimately receive a solid introduction to the world of alternative-process photography in general. This course is limited to 12 students.
